I've always had a creative mind, particularly through media - I used to make YouTube videos until I was around 16, I've also dabbled with this blog, but as of yet it hasn't really got very far ... I've either forgotten about it or been too busy or lazy! So ... about me, I'm 20-years-old and I study English Literature at the University of Liverpool.
As I've said, I'm interested in the media so I've debated in possible careers in journalism, digital marketing and branding, and also primary school teaching, but who knows where I'll end up! When I'm not busy procrastinating my uni work, I spend a lot of time with friends. I also enjoy baking cakes, reading (when I eventually get round to it!) and recently, I'm getting into going to the gym and doing home workouts - I find it refreshing and it's fun to get a sweat on!!
I have been creating my own journals and designing my own magazine articles since I was very young! (to my Mother's dismay as I used to use all of the ink in our printer - oops!) I love writing, but the computer skills to make my own blog has been beyond me, so the idea of a collaborative blog sounds perfect to me! I have previously written for my university's magazine, as well as external Liverpool based media outlets.
So I am a 21-year-old English Literature student (how cliché is it that I'm now writing blog posts!) at the University of Liverpool. I've always been interested in a career in journalism, but now I'm looking into further possible career prospects for publishing, marketing or advertising. I'm willing to try anything as long as I am able to pursue my dream of being able to write! When I'm not focused on assignments, I enjoy writing poetry, writing media articles and spending time with my weird (but very lovely) family. I also love dramatically walking on my local beach (I live in Anglesey, North Wales) listening to music pretending I'm either in a TV show or a music video ... depending on how I feel that day. I also enjoy ranting about feminist issues and giving my unsolicited opinions and experiences on relationships.

Hey, so my name is Ottilie - yes it's a little odd, I know. A little bit about me ... I'm a 21-year-old who grew up in God's own country (Yorkshire), specifically Leeds. I'm a biomedical science student at the University of Liverpool. I love cooking, tequila, TV, my two dachshunds - Harley & Delilah, and time with my family - on the odd occasion! I spend a lot of time between Leeds, Liverpool and France.
I'll be writing on a number of things that interest me, including all about my struggles with endometriosis to shine light on this topic, and I may also share some of my recipes too!
